Suspend and Resume a Sale

The Retail Module allows a cashier to suspend one sale at a time. This functionality is not needed in the Restaurant Module as you can keep multiple sales open in the Restaurant Module.

Suspend Sale can be used if a customer forgot an item or forgot his money in the car. Instead of letting the other customers wait, the cashier can simply suspend the sale and then carry on with the next customer.



When the original customer returns, the cashier can simply click on Resume Suspended Sale.



To clear a Suspended Sale. Resume the sale and then Void it.
